Hey Ben, what do you call a Turkey that searches the interwebs?

A Surfin Bird? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIHt9RKii7s&feature=related

Franklin what do think of my new cornucopia?

Resplendent! I was just admiring the tight weave. Where d’ya get it?

Thank you Franklin, it is my handiwork, a result of my basket weaving class I take in the evenings.
Would you mind pulling another arm out for me? They’re scrumptious!
Oh, and please pour me another shot of that gobble juice.

My God, is that a “Da Finchy” you’re holding?.....

Yes it is Franklin…yes it is!

Great Grumbacher’s Ghost, how did you manage to get your wings on that!

Ahhh, I remember that moment well back in Paris. It was after VE day, on the third day of Christmas, when my true love gave to me…

I know, I know…three French Hens. Right?

No you nimrod, this “Da Finchy”, although she had some help acquiring it from the notorious Three French Hens of the Left Bank. I’m sure you’ve read about them. They’re suspected of those peculiar Murders in the Rue Morgue, but let us not dwell on such trivialities, what happens in Paris stays in Paris.
For now, let us savor this marvelous painting and the hickory smoked flavor of these free range humans.

Now Franklin, I ask you to raise your glass.
Here’s to a most blessed, contorted, cubist Thanksgiving.

Strange Gilliatt. It took me a while to realise the illustrations were by none other than G. Gurgle (which makes it no less strange). Ah Wild Turkey days...

MM,
Thanks for the "strange" comment and taking time to look and in keeping with tradition, I'll wish you an American Happy Thanksgiving.
In fact, Happy Thanksgiving to all those out there who partake in the holiday and for those travelling, keep safe.
