The Gospel according to John
1 Before time itself was measured, the
Voice was speaking.
The Voice was and is God.
2 This celestial Word remained ever present
with the Creator;
3 His speech shaped the entire cosmos.
Immersed in the practice of creating,
all things that exist were birthed in
Him.
4 His breath filled all things
with a living, breathing light—
5 A light that thrives in the depths of
darkness,
blazes through murky bottoms.
It cannot and will not be quenched.
You can download the Book of John from their website absolutely free, because all the booksellers in my town don't carry The Voice NT. A complete 'translation' is expected next year.
Personally, I am a KJV fan and think these equivalence translations are as legitimate as a movie based on actual events. Additionally, I don't much care for all the historical footnotes filling the text.
But I am curiously interested in The Voice...
Normally, you have the Word, and it is scripture; but here you have the Voice, and it is dialog.
