A hug to those who in one way or another cooperated in keeping America the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And an appropriate quote for the commemoration: "We could have gone to Vietnam, paved all the roads, installed parking meters all over the place and been back home for Christmax." ~ Ronald Reagan.

Remembering my Grandfather Corporal E. Macháček.
One of the "doughboys" sent over to Europe in WW I as part of the A.E.F.
