Simple, what is your favourite scripture aside from the Bible, the Qur'an or the Torah?
As a Taoist, I obviously drew a great amount of inspiration and influence from the Tao Te Ching.
However, literature-wise, what I have read of the Icelandic Sagas has been great, I am in possession of the largest translation (into English) but it is missing some notable sections. I feel like learning Icelandic just to finish it. But it would probably be quicker to wait for someone to translate the rest.
I love the prose of it, it is the dead opposite of the Tao Te Ching , it is thick and fills the pages, it seems like it is easy to be buried in the words of the Sagas.
So what are your personal favourites?

I love the Tao te ching. The philosophy laid out therein makes the most sense to me of any. So straightforward and profound, it cuts like a knife through ignorance and confusion.

Another great non-Abrahamic text is The Bhagavad Gita. Its full of wisdom presented in very powerful poetic language.
