it started in spring, I wasn’t prepared but noticed your smiling eyes

we inspired each other, talked about paining a bright future together.

the last winter was still on our minds

but the passion of spring prevailed

innocent stimulation turned into passionate love

the kiss on the bench sealed the bond.

dreams of an honest future dwarfed the pain

our love was stronger than tears and fears

our bond was like an orchard in full bloom

perfectly designed by nature in every detail

it’s summer, and no doubts can take away the beauty of our love

hope and trust provide the energy for infinite growth

true beauty is eternal and goes deeper than what you can see

it stays like a picture in your heart in bright colors and perfect shape

although you are not as flawless as the orchard in full bloom,

your imperfection make you even more lovable every day

I wish summers would never end, but they actually do

it’s always summer though if you dare to look at our moon.

fall is an early reminder that winter is coming soon

less sunshine and colder nights make the orchard weak

worries and struggles are like an early morning freeze

it might kill the orchard or just put it to sleep

distracting thoughts make colors fade away

silence is like a harsh winter night

but where there is love there is also hope of another spring

your smiling eyes are as unforgettable as the orchard in summer

orchards are only remembered for their beauty when they are in full bloom

passion and love are stronger than the hopelessness of winter

I will let you go because I want you back

what appears to be dead in winter might be returning to life in spring

I am just a dreamer, but I know that you are still looking at the moon every day,

memories keep my dreams alive until spring wakes you up

In the dreamer’s world winter is just a time of reflection

the orchard doesn’t die, it is just collecting new energy for another spring

Spring is coming soon, it always does

I was washed away in the sweet romance of this piece. I would rather have read it in stanza style as the space between each line makes them appear disconnected when in fact they are not.
