Hello everyone, this is Marlin Lipnap, hope everyone is doing well.

I have started a blog with poems, quotes, mini-stories, thoughts, about Dory and Marlin Lipnap, about the journey of one soul in two bodies.

For my little girl…

Your sweet breath
Warms the curve of my neck
Your heart flutters
On my swollen breast
Your chest moves
In rhythm with mine
Your infant head
On my shoulder rest

Your tiny hands
Clutch the edge of my dress
Your silken black hair
Against my skin
Your tiny lips
Escape a small cry
Your life as you know
Begins and ends

My sweet little girl
Now my own to love
My yearning so long
To hold you
My angel girl
Our gentle embrace
Your mother’s arms
Are safe and true

Our tears combine
Mine with yours
Of fear and joy
Relief and pain
I will not forget
A woman grieves
Her baby girl
Forever gone

This gift I hold
With big, dark eyes
Touches my soul
And my life
I ached for you
This moment in time
Now we join
Mother and child

That is a wonderful poem, I haven't written anything since I left school about 8 years ago but I'm trying to get back into Public Liability Insurance (http://www.publicliabilityinsurance.org.uk/), the only problem seems to be is that i don't have the right inspiration!

So I'm hoping that things like this help me find my muse and allow me to create!
