Hello everybody,I am new here.I am a Chinese girl and I am 14 years old.I start reading when I was 7 years old.I am keen on world-famous book.
My favourite book is <little women>,the writer of this book is Alcott, Louisa May.I also like the articles of Mark Twain. His writings are really funny and helpful. There are many writers I like, such as Balzac,Jules-Verne,Flaubert,Swift,Gorky,Voynich,EB White,Jack Lundon,Dickens.
And although I love learning English,it is really terrible.Maybe there are many mistakes,I hope you can not mind them O(∩_∩)O

Now I am reading Balzac's <the lily of the valley>,I have read it in Chinese when I was 10 years old,and I am reading it in English. It is a little difficult for me to read it.But I think it is nice to read it in English. It makes me a different feeling about this book.

Welcome! It is really interesting to have a Chinese member here and that broadens our literary horizon. Do not worry about the language stuff and there are many nonnative writers here.I am also one, in fact your immediate neighbor. All you need is get your message across, the rest will go well.

I am an English speaker and had no idea what nonnative meant. A hyphen makes it clearer...non-native speaker.
When I was a bit younger than you I read Little Women so often that the book fell to pieces. I also read Treasure Island at about the same time.
I think you might like Jane Eyre Wuthering Heights, The Mill on the Floss Young Bess, by Margaret Irwin,The King Must Die by Mary Renault. or Wild Swans by Jung Chang.
Welcome to our group and I'm sure you will have lots to contribute.

Jane Eyre&Wuthering Heights are nice writings and I am going to read. Now I am finding the best publishing house of these books. There are also some problems with my study,it is too busy for me,so I can only read some shorter writing.I will get ready to read in the vacation.
