Back in the early 90's I began reading a book that I was unable to finish. The book was then lost in a move. I want to know how it ends, so I'm hoping if I give a brief description, someone may remember it.
Women were being trafficked from Mexico and used as prostitutes. Once they were impregnated a surgical procedure was performed to remove the fetus' pituitary gland, and implant it in an elderly patient to see if they could reverse aging. One of the problems that arose were that these foreign women were carriers of Mad Cow Disease. So the elderly patients were suffering awful dementia. Another problem was after the surgery was performed on the fetus, they allowed the fetus to remain inside the woman minus a pituitary gland, so when it was born, it was "un-human".
Now I don't know if anyone else has ever read this or anything like it, but I'd love to finish it, that is of course if we can find it =]
Thanks in advance!
