Drained.

The shutter are bring my eyes fluttering with a string in the lid. I need sleep but can not get enough for me. I drained to a zombie like state with white paste look like skin during day with not batteries to recharge. If I knew what wrong with body or brain so I get repair kit fix it. I am restless to point of no turn which way shall I run? My brain switch off but restart with no way to go. Direction is what I need as well as a job. Who get me direction on this? A dream or someone to get chance approve myself.

Distance sigh which reach out from my lips, my fingers wonder what word will they type next and will fit together with the others. My world is stale with no time to develop or move in any way or form. I existence in this body which to some people I belong but do I?

Sounds like you've been running around in circles Zoo, no energy left to even sleep.

I went through that a while ago, but now sleep is my top priority before I start anything. If I'm too tired to do something then I avoid starting because I know I'm not going to do it well, and that being the case I may as well sleep (or read/ listen to a book before falling asleep.

Unfortunately I possess the noisiest landlord and neighbors in history who don't believe that peace is beneficial.

I got my landlord a great trick yesterday: I went out briefly while my computer rendered an elaborate scene, leaving my electric toothbrush running so it vibrated buzzily in the rack, and left the bathroom window open. When I returned there he was standing at the window trying to work out what the strange sound was.

'What's that noise? What's that's noise? I turned off your electricity and it's still there!'

He turned off my electricity.

And my computer as well.

I felt pretty tired after that.

Ah. TV doesn't work for me either because I keep wanting to know what's going to happen next. Boring books are the best in my experience, or boring AM radio (when I can find the right yakkety yak station, or just some Brian Eno music).

Failing this I try to plan my dreams - it never happens, but often I can self-hypnotise myself into a trance, and then just nod off.

Actually on the music front I have a pretty good selection of experimental musics I've recorded off the radio over the years that can work at a low volume.

Good luck Zoo, I hope you find the peaceful state. :)
