A wonderous golden garden
in the mist-enshrouded past
did lie above the rocking waves.
And the piper piped, the maiden played
upon those wild and windy hills
as a stronger sun burned brighter.

Oh, when they were here;
heaven gave rain, the earth renewed,
a bountiful harvest was had by all;
Oh yes, when they once breathed and moved.

Silver songs of long ago,
ringing echoes circling back;
a meassage given we all could share,
yet still ignored.
If revelations and prophecies
still held their sway
it surely would be rest from all toil
and mercy for us, mercy on us.

Fair land, gone so long, sunken from view,
all worldly cries go out to you.
Is it time to hear, to heal
the wounds of greed, hearts of hate?
Gentle giant who slumbers on
while the deadly thunder
roars its slaughtering song,
must you yet dream on?

Just to faintly feel your first slight stirring
would give the power to make a stand,
to live again.
Ah, bright one, can you not hear
humanity begging
for its daily bread?

Rise on us, for we now crawl,
shine once more so our children can grow.

Atlantis--rise upward, bring in the new age.
Hail Atlantis! Let my song greet that day.
