Which is an example of verbal irony as spoken by Antigone?
"You have yourself to consider, after all."
"You must decide whether you will help me or not."
". . . and if I must die, / I say that this crime is holy . . ."
". . . if it means death, / It will not be the worst of deaths . . ."

The best answer is "none of these.....there seems to be a misunderstanding about the term irony." The answer you are probably looking for is "the last one", I suppose.

This is the scene where Antigone is trying to convince Ismene to help her bury their brother against the wishes of Creon.
I think it probably best fits the first one in context, as Antigone does not honestly believe that Ismene needs to worry about herself, as it is Antigone who is risking her life. Antigone seems sincere in the other three, but I'd agree it is not clear that the statement is an example of verbal irony, as it can also be read as Antigone giving in to her sister and letting her off the hook.
