Like our faults thread, but opposite. Let's try not to get this one closed though.

Let's make it non-physical ones too, because everyone has "nice eyes," and also 'cuz I'm OP and I say so.

1. My most common and widely acknowledged non-physical complement is that I'm "brave," (and people always say that when there's nothing frightening happening, so I suspect that I'm simply oblivious).

2. I'm pretty funny.

3. I have a good memory. It's my bread and butter.

Hm, I was going to boast about my above-average memory...but I'll come up with three originals.

1. I'm generous - I a I supm very giving and willing to go out of my way to help those I care about (strangers too, to an extent).

2. I'm reliable - if I tell someone I'm going to do something I do it, and in good time too.

3. As I delight in the absurd, I've been called crazy (in the positive sense of the word). I suppose this is a way of saying I'm witty without saying I'm witty.

1. I'm loyal (yeah, confessed to my friend what I did)

2. have empathy

3. am honest

Does it have to be only three? :p

In general, I tend to be:

1. Patient

2. Good listener and observer (I think they go together somehow)

3. Conscientious

1. I am more aware than most people; aware enough for that to be glaringly obvious.

2. I love everyone. Yes, everyone.

3. I'm hilarious like a Jew, but passionate like a Frenchie.

I think I could name three more flaws but lets try this

1.patient- my brother says no one can be this patient especially when it comes to computers

2.calm- I say this is good cause I don't know how to worry and I rarely let situations upset me, I don't think I could live with all the worries some people carry on their shoulders.

3. positive- maybe that is linked with the above cause I'd rather think of the good things than worry if the bad will happen. if they happen, they happen, deal with it.

1. Good sense of humour - I usually try to see the funny side of things.

2. Loyal and trustworthy - (I know that seems like 2, but I lump them together as I'm loyal to people and they know they can trust me if they tell me anything).

3. Reliable - like Charles, if I say I'm doing something, or am going to be somewhere, I stick to it. I don't like to let people down.

Oh, come on. I've got an așș that won't quit, and I'm not supposed to mention it? Seriously?

So now we know the secret of your success!

(I guess I won't wink at the taken ones.)

Oh, wink away. I think that's exactly what he's looking for when he starts talking about his impressive a**. :wink5:

I'm really curious to see it! But I have a good imagination. :)

Interesting that this is proving more difficult then my bad traits. It always amazes me. As part of their initial assessments, our students are required to fill in a questionnaire and one of the questions asks them to list their strengths and weaknesses. Even though most students make a long list of the latter, they often leave the former blank.

Lack of self-confidence? Humility? Hard to figure out.

I have found that as well: particularly in an academic setting, people do not like to praise themselves - or write about themselves in general. As far as omitting strengths go, I think it has to do with not wishing to be judged by the standards listed. Don't set the bar to high for yourself and you are sure to be able to jump it.

Perhaps it's as simple as not wanting to look cocky? But more likely a lack of self confidence, IMO....

Anyway, my three.

1. I'm a perfectionist. This is also one of my worst traits - I get upset when things are not perfect!
2. I'm confident. This is also a bad trait at times! I often come across as egotistical because of this!
3. I'm honest. Probably too honest. Again, this can be right up there on my list of bad'uns!
