Heyyy....I just joined and wasnt sure where to put this but if anybody could help me with this I'd be soo greatful!
I've got a 'controlled assessment' in English tomorrow and it's worth 25% of my final grade. By now I would usually have loads of ideas already but I'm completely stuck for some reason! :confused5:
The narratives we've been looking at are: Macbeth, 'Tickets Please' by DH Lawrence and 'The Darkness Out There' by Penelope Lively.
I'll mainly be comparing the characters: Lady Macbeth, Annie and Mrs Rutter...but could also talk about other characters
Um...could you give me advice about anything; what to talk about/ what to compare, the structure etc etc...
Also, because Macbeth is a play and the other two short stories...what can I say about that?
Could you also explain to me why Annie was so upset after John chose her? I kinda know but I'm not sure how to explain it...? :S
If you havent read all the stories could you maybe just tell me about the choice and destructive consequences in one/two of the narratives?
I need to a reply asap so if anyone has anything to say ...please reply.
Thanks in advance!
(sorry to sound so demanding on my first post. stressed! xx)
