Amazing poem

Just found this poem. I find it amazing. Does anyone shares my opinion. By the way, does anyone knows this poet?

It seems, he's portuguese and a novelist too. Has anybody ever heard of this author?
His novels have been published by Bloomsbury in the UK and Doubleday in the US.
