Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, died yesterday, October 5, 2011 at the age of 56. Last night I dabbed away some tears, and this morning I woke up to a world without Steve Jobs. The world is a lot emptier today than yesterday.
There's not one person right here on Litnet whose life wasn't changed by Steve Jobs. For starters, if you use Windows to get on Litnet, you have Steve Jobs to thank because if it hadn't be for Mac OS, there wouldn't be Windows. If you have/had an iPod, your music you so loved was brought to you by Apple. If your school or office is deploying the iPad, if you fly American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, or the British Airlines, your pilot is using the iPad in the cockpit. That's Steve Jobs's legacy. I can go on and on.
I just wanted to create a thread here should anyone wants to pay tribute to this American visionary of our time.
