Hello! This is my first post. The community looks great here, and I thought I'd sign up to join in the discussions and whatnot.

This may be a rather specific request, but I was wondering if anybody knew about some novels/poems/drama (or even films) that are based in or around, or are even about gated communities?

I am currently reading up on gated communities, and would love to attempt a study into representations of the gated community in literature. I have a few thoughts about them already, informed by Baudrillard's 'America' and Edward W. Soja's work on thirdspace around Los Angeles.

The current gated community narratives I have found so far are:
T.C. Boyle's 'The Tortilla Curtain'
Neal Stephenson's 'Snow Crash'
J.G Ballard's 'Running Wild'
J.G Ballard's 'Super-Cannes'
Octavia E. 'Butler's 'Parable of the Sower'
Ira Levin's 'The Stepford Wives'
'La Zona' dir. by Rodrigo Plá

So, I just wondered if anybody else could help me name a few more that I might possibly want to look at? Thank you!
