HELP!!! I dont understand these questions at all, and trying to read them is like trying to read chinese backwards to me. Ill list the questions and requirments so if anyone can help me at all it would be GREAT. Thanks a bunch. Dont worry about the page number, just give me the chapter and i can find it. I have to have one of these journals for each chapter sections, which are...2-5 6-9 10-13 14-17 18-21 22-24. Ive already completed 2-5

1. Copy down the first sentence of your passage. Give the chapter and page number.
2. Under this quote, copy down the issue from the “issues” list.
3. Write a minimum 150 word explanation of the issue. Explain CLEARLY how the passage illustrates the issue. Connect each side of the issue CLEARLY to particulars in the novel. Your discussion will include clarification of the context of the passage (what is happening in the novel, who is involved). Remember that the nature of an issue is that there are always two sides. Be as objective as possible in your exploration of the two sides presented in your passage.
4. Now, write a minimum 100 word personal response to the issue as it emerges in your selected passage. Here, you are demonstrating to me your genuine thinking, your personal engagement with the narrative.

And here's the issues
 What obligations does a just individual have toward society?
 What obligations does a just society owe to an individual?
 What are the limits on individual freedom?
 How does an individual judge right from wrong?
 What is the role of the individual in confronting justice?
 What kind of government is effective?
 How does a society contend with the dichotomies (divisions into two) presented by freedom and equality?
 What is the role of love in the redemption of an individual and/or of society?
