What is the sensation when you close your eyes and everything is black but you can still see images in your mind? That is to say, how can you see the images in your mind? What sustains them? How do you see them? How are they there? What kind of ability enables you to prolong the images in your memory/mind? How can you see a memory in your mind but not threw your eyes?
Any explanation, theories or ideas? I'm at a loss. That's why I've picked up Augustine's book of "Confessions". Maybe, by the end I'll have the answer if I understand the book. But I want to know what you think.
