Jethro Tull. I like the combination of contemporary and classical instruments and the medieval flavour alot of his music has, especially Minstrel in the Gallery.

Not only do I love the features of her voice, but also her professionalism, which is somewhat common in lyric singers. Oh, and I wouldn't mind if she were ugly.

The man who popularized the King V model, and by many considered the number one Heavy Metal guitarist (of course that's very subjective). There was a bad accident he once suffered in his arm, and the docs said he would never play again, but after undergoing a hard rehab process and much training he finally made it back on the six strings.

Within Temptation, because they are absolutely stunning even after many years of playing. Their new album has very good songs and is rated one of the best albums that have come out recently.

Arctic Monkeys, because Turner is able to write songs that have good lyrics that do not only concern love but other stuff in life. His voice has become sexier and the band has become more mature as a whole. It's refreshing to see them grow.

Ikimono Gakari (いきものがかり), because their songs are really lovely (you all know how Japanese song lyrics are always connected to nature) and suit my mood. It's not too mellow and not too hyper such that I can't withstand it when I'm down.

Rant Against The Machine. I have yet to listen to more of their songs, but so far I really like three of their songs and I know they are a big legend. They have greatly influenced a fictional band called BECK (based on the Japanese manga BECK by Harold Sakuishi), and after I heard some of the songs from their live action drama, some people mention that their music style is similar to that of RATM. I checked RATM out and their lyrics are amazing. I'm not very into metal, but RATM is not too heavy and the rapper's great.

When it comes to composers, I love Johan Soderqvist. He composed songs for "In A Better World" and "Let The Right One In". The soundtrack is stunning; critics say that it's hauntingly beautiful. Honestly I've never heard music so beautiful that it feels as if I am living in Sweden itself, relaxing and not thinking about any of my problems.

As with Jaroussky, Scholl's abilities are such that my prejudice for female singers in this repertoire come to naught. (Note I can do without the second half of the Scholl video with Delerium... but both the sound and the images of the first half with Scholl are quite beautiful)

Like Kozena, Gens is particularly good with the Baroque repertoire... but I find her even more special with the French melodie.
