This is a new game, not sure how many will want to play! :)

It runs like this: you choose a civilization and an era (ancient/medieval/industrial/modern) and the others have to guess which it is. They do that by examining the piece of art you post depicting some architecture of that civilization.

This piece of art can be anything that shows buildings of a distinct era of one of the four mentioned ones. It can be a graphic, a painting, a drawing, even a 3d model on display (3d modeling sites like Turbosquid could serve as places to look for concept art).

I hope all can participate, since you can always choose the traditional painting or drawing.

You have to show at least one specific and real (does not matter if it exists now or not, but it should have existed sometime in the past) edifice from the culture.

Ok, let us start with something easy. This is one of my models of this civilization in one of its eras. Can you guess the civ and era? :)

My guess would be Chinese, around 1600.

Correct time (only had to name it as medieval (pre-industrial, meta-ancient) but wrong culture.

However now it is even easier to guess which one it is :)

Here's the next entry. I cropped the background of a picture I took so it is a little blurry.

Bonus: One dancing banana  to whomever can guess the city this building was built in.

The modern is correct. Geographically, I guess Singapore is closer than Chicago to it.
