Hey, I've heard that there is another epic that is connected to Beowulf. I don't know how it is spelled, but think that it is pronounced Grendel. Is this true?

ALSO- How come we don't have Beowulf on this site?

Could you somehow get the old English Beowulf and put the text next to the modernization like how Dante's Inferno is sometimes published (except w/ Italian)?

Well the translation up there isn't exactly new, but currently the site doesn't support the ability to have 2 versions of a text so it'll just be the one for now.

I support Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Other books by anonymous author's i can think of are the Major Edda, the Volsunga Saga, the Nibelungenlied, and maybe some stories from Arabian Nights.
