But,
Growing in perversity
Gnawing on others’ sweat
We call it progress
Progress in your eyes only
Regress in mine.
For man is a parasite
The jangle of dead limbs
The clanks of sharp-edged razors
Sooth your sense of music
The two iniquitous world wars
Followed by many others
Endorse this fact

This poem has a very strong anti-war message addressed to the older generations. Haven't seen this kind of statement in a long time. It says something about the state of worldly affairs.
