I have recently finished my short story, and I am seriously looking into having it published. Before I bother sending it off, however, I would like some good criticism and feedback. I don't want to post the whole thing up on this website because that would obviously ruin the chances of someone buying it.

So I'm asking for a few trusty litnetters to volunteer their proofreading services. Simply state your interest and I'll email you the story. You can give me feedback through email preferably or if you prefer in this thread.

Now, you probably want to know what it's about before you decide to waste any time on it, so here is a little synopsis:

The story centers around a Norman mercenary who is charged with the capture of a murdering peasant. He is soon confronted with a moral dilemma when he discovers the true reasoning for the crime and is forced to recall his own dark past. He struggles within himself between what he knows to be right and what his hate would dictate.

The story is about 5300 words long and 11 pages. Hope you enjoy.

I'd offer but I would probably fail as a proofreader ...
Anyway, good luck with the story!

That`s okay, I`m not demanding only expert proofreaders. Sometimes a simpler input can be beneficial. If you`re still interested, I`ll email the story to you.
