What do people think about this. I haven't read it but I'm sure it's a bastardization of the bards work while also being a tribute. Do you think its a genuine attempt at fusion of the genres or just marketing hype?

It looks pretty bad, as far as I am any judge. It kind of looks like it was the brainchild of someone who has heard of Shakespeare's plays, but never actually seen the plays. As far as I can judge from the website, Hamlet has been cast in the role of action hero - whereas, of course, one of the main points of the play is that he is anything but.
While I am a purist at heart, I'm still happy for people to re-invent or re-imagine Shakespeare - but this looks like a poorly thought-out plan to be intentionally quirky.

I know. I think I am in denial. When I heard about the idea I was excited by the fusion of my love of graphic novels and my love of Shakespeare... but from the preview panes it looks pretty thin.
