What are Lit-Nutters thoughts on Adam's first wife Lillith? Do you think she got a raw deal, was she evil or good?

Maybe Samael as a 'bit on the side' was a factor?

Even women have a sex drive....Prostitution reinforces the idea of Man's God given right to have access to sex. Why put a different standard on women?

You do realise that Adam, Eve, Lilith, Samael & god are imaginary fairytale characters right?

Is Lilith even canon? I thought she was invented much later.

She may have been fired out of a cannon. I suppose it depends on which you consider the oldest fairy story, the Babylonian Talmud or the King James Version.

*Hint* King James was born in 1566.

Now, now. The question isn't whether they existed or not but how Lilith was portrayed. So the question is still relevant.

Portrayed by whom? Ancient Jewish Cabbalists, modern cabbalists Jewish or otherwise, Christians ancient or otherwise, Seventh-Day Adventists or other?

Anyone you choose? Forgive my ignorance on this thread. I'm just interested in views, no matter the interpretation of different religious perspectives.

This response doesn't make sense. There are older Bibles than the King James. What you really should have said was, "I suppose it depends on which you consider the oldest fairy story, the Dead Sea Scrolls or the Babylonian Talmud."
