Snow Dance

Exciting white drops came
From a mantle of loveliness

On the way down
She plays heavenly tunes,
On the verge of too much
She lets out a sigh.

If this be the cold of heaven
Then such joy she brings

To the angels who feather
Above their wings,
Waving at their good master
In all their delight.

The Angst of Life

The comfort,
The angst of life,
All mixed together
The stew of life.

The first breath taken,
The last word given,
The mystery of who we are.

The dream differed,
The dream realized,

What difference?

I liked both these poems but particularly The Angst of Life. Expressed in short simple terms yet loaded with insight and wisdom.

Enjoyed both; my favorite "Snow Dance", I found very delightful.

You do so many things right in 'Snow Dance'...

On the way down
She plays heavenly tunes,
On the verge of too much
She lets out a sigh.

This excerpt is probably the best poetry you've shown so far. If this is the direction you're slowly moving in, this reader likes it.
