You pinpoint me on the event horizon
approaching the boundary of spacetime.
Sucked toward a singularity at the speed of light,
this the point of no return.
Fighting the gravitational pull,
our warped particles
suddenly stretch like the longest spaghetti.
Forever trapped by escape velocity,
we tear the fabric and disappear with the light
into the black hole of love.

Good Morning Delta

This is brilliant :)

One suggestion, the matter and particles is clunky - I'd scrap the 'matter and' - if you need to use 'matter' (you don't) stick it in another line

I really love this. Cosmic stuff + love = just <3.

It makes me wonder if falling in love is in one's best interests if love is a black hole. Nice way to view this though.

Wow. What a departure from what I would have expected.

Q. We tear the fabric of what ? gravitation/space/time/existence (normal or otherwise)/all of the preceding/none/other... might even be moot by current cosmological theory standards. (Paging Dr. Hawking !!!, Doctor Green !!!, Doctor Kaku !!!, Doctor Schwartz !!!, Doctor Howard !!!)

Otherwise enjoyed the journey.

Geeks are so cute when they're in love! But the spaghetti reference was a little out of place with all the other scientific references...

Always putting food into your poems! Once again left me hungry for food and hungry for more Delta poems!
Well done!

Thanks everyone. I used the term spaghetti because Prof Brian Cox used it during a doco I was watching on the universe on Sunday night and it seemed so easy to imagine.

Brilliant, I loved this. I think the spaghetti reference is fine, it reminded me of the Pastafarians (http://www.venganza.org/).
