The Same

I carried myself along the cold streets
With lots of promises not meant
Told to my eyes.

Just another tool walking alone
Thrown in the roaring wind,
Wonders do I learn?

Over and over I hear them
Same words again
Breaking my foolish heart,
Hoping it different.

The night charges day
And my day always retreats
In the shadows of solitude,
Spending hours
As its friend.

Ahh, My Heart

Ahh, my heart
The deepest bowels of a slave ship
Emotionally ripped to shreds with blood pouring out the sides.

Ahh, my heart
The deepest hurt Imaginable
Finds a bed where no dreams can go, silence!

Ahh, my heart
Un-Imaginable
Has heard the most wicked thoughts, thoroughly done in by fears.

Ahh, my heart
Why it beats?
For what reason other than to prick at me!

Ahh, my heart
Once had daydreams
Sail out to turbulent seas, capsize then overturn.

Ahh, this heart
Beat, beat for me no more
Speak, speak to me no more!

I like them both but -The Same- more, may be cuz it applies on me :/, I like the last stanza very much. :D

and you mean ''Hoping it was different.''? I don't quite get it. :)

For 'The Same' : It's very clear that you want to say something with this poem but it just isn't coming across clearly to this reader.
