Feminine culture is Apollonian, it heals. To me, culture is dionysiac, it tears things apart to get to the truth. Perhaps the only truth is death as Camus said in his own fashion. Perhaps it is all we have to look forward to.

To me, culture is the aspects of the way that one lives. Each individual OR group develops their own cultural entity. There are ethnic cultures, national cultures, age cultures, and of course, gender cultures. I don't see culture in and of itself healing or tearing down although a particular culture may possible achieve one or both of those.

Nietzsche would have agreed, in fact he also believed that only a dionysiac religion could be the only way to any kind of religious truth (if there is any 'religious truth'). The irrational being a necessary part of this process.
As for female culture being apollonian, what about the maenads?

The wounded man needs a woman's touch to soothe his savage heart.
