I've been sitting here waiting;
a noisy brook nearby has been babbling for an entire afternoon~
no footstep of my love in the mist.

There is only a wood of whispering pines,
whispering her name over and over again~
One lonely summer afternoon feels like an eternal despair.

She's gone with the summer wind again,
nowhere to be found.
Only a forest of cicadas
keep whining her song over and over again.

My shattered soul keeps reminding me~
time to hit the road
time to travel along without her company.

Hi, my dear friends,

I scribbled the song above last summer, and in a blink of an eye, it's summer again. My love in the mist is gone again, so I revised the song a bit and post it here again. I sincerely hope you can give me your advice, suggestions and comments so that I can improve! Thanks in advance.
