It is kind of like a chapter. It is divided into sections called staves. A stave is a set of lines.

The title is Christmas Carol, a stave is a part of a song or poems. It is used to number chapters in Christmas Carol but you know Dickens (always playing with words) so there is an example.

Yes, sort of, but more like a poetiv way of dividing the book up into small sections.

A stave is a musical term for a segment. Duh!
Yea... they call the "stave" a chapter.
