She opens up today
a warm stream flow
through fine lace sleeve
set free
on a bed of buttercups.
No wallflower
in her ray-bans
her lips caress a golden tip
rings blown to the blue.
She empties fast,
an inevitable smile,
a spluttered laugh.
Her loss congeals
for flies.

Great, now this reader has to make an argument about why he thought this was about pissing as to demonstrate he isn't a pervert.

Sorry, JB, haven't a clue what this one is about...

Those last 2 lines threw me for a loop after I was thoroughly enjoying the rich procession of images before them.

Cavalry to the rescue - though I could be way off target.

A young girl - slashing her wrists - but also having one final cigarette before dying.

Great poem btw

thank you Prince
and..... SPOT ON, HILL. You never fail, my friend.

I also tried to imply with the duality of the opening line and with the denial in line six, that she see's herself as a wallflower now finally so cool with ray-bans and gold tipped cigarette.
