I've been told I need a more positive outlook on life in general and not to be so pessimistic. So, I have attempted to write a "lighter" poem. I'm not a happy, or romantic person, so you can imagine how difficult this may have been. With that being said, I'm open to comments and suggestions! Thanks all!


Afternoon Sunlight


Wheels spinning with afternoon delight.
Wind in your hair,
and passion in your eyes.
Painted lines directing your life,
there’s freedom in your soul.
The road is open with adventures.
Your beauty travels with you,
into the afternoon sunlight.
