My noisy alarm clock goes off
too early in the morning,
it teleports me
from my sweetest dream,
to my small sweaty bed.
I have to get ready for work,
or else i 'll be late
and consequently -fired-.
I sigh and get up slowly,
I look down and i see my cat,
Pearl, sleeping on the ground
like a breathing fur ball.
I envy her, wish i could enjoy
one of her tight sleeps.
Instantly, i decide,
I am not going to work!
So I turn off the alarm
and drown my cellular
in a glass of water next to bed.
No one can disturb me now,
so i lie down next to Pearl
and close my tired eyes,
hoping that i wake up tomorrow
with the alarm, to find out
that I am not late for work
and that all this, was just a dream.
PS. I am still working on the previous poem but nothing noticeable yet, guess it took my best already. xD
