Really interesting story. I like how you incorporated a lot of themes into one; an art that I hope to acquire eventually in the future. What really got me hooked was how you described Paint Depot. Really painted a nice image of how the store looked like and functioned, and the line with opening up only 8 lines at a time really set up the theme to this story nicely well.

thanks a lot oblique, it's part of a science fiction novel im trying to write. i've never written a novel before, but im just trying to cut the crap out and make the story something that i would want to read myself.
