I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to put this, but I think there is the possibility for some of you guys to like this project.
Right now it's 6 tracks of spoken word songs. You'll have to just give it a listen. It's not just spoken word poetry it's also sweet guitar parts too.
This is me and my friend, we're in a band called 'The Age Of Being Afraid Together'

Let me know what you think. The lyrics are pinned to the songs, if you click on the actual song, you can see them.

I don't know if that serious discussions place is right either. The music is poetry. Like it's not even singing. It's just talking poetry so I would be hard pressed to find a better outlet then this personal poetry thread...
huh, I guess some moderator will weigh in if theres doubt about it being a legit place to post.

2 points :
Great guitar - possibly too good as it distracts
Great poetry - though I ended up trying to read it at the same time and noticed there's some dispartity between what's written down and what's spoken.
There's a tradition of poetry being performed to a backdrop of music - the 'beat poets' and Patti Smith for example, so I would stick out my neck and say 'If it doesn't belong on a Poetry Forum where else should it be?'
However, to gain maximum coverage and greater chance of meaningful responses on here it might be a better idea to cut and paste one or two individual poems for readers to experience in the quiet and comfort of their own homes.
Good luck
H
PS - love the phrase 'leadfoot of winter'
