Smiles shining like the teeth
of sunbeams on a sickle
The empty garish revenants
for love now long proved fickle.
You love me so, you love me not,
I - more fool to believe -
That teeth and tongue reciprocate
what minds so well deceive.

Delightful. The rhyme works wonderfully for me. Emily D's poetic style comes to mind.

Enjoyed very much.

Love this little poem - particularly the opening two lines.

Hill(rhymehater)walker loving your rhymes is a far greater compliment than I could possibly follow :D
(and I agree re: the opening lines)
Not sure about the title though... a little grandiose....
