If pretending to be one thing and being another is not evil under all circumstances, why not?

Because actions are never “evil” based on what they are, but, instead, based on their intent. Killing another person, for example, may be evil (murder), or it may be an accident, or it may be an act of self defense.

So when a child pretends to be a mommy and plays with her dolls it is not evil. Why would it be? There is no intent to harm (or even deceive) another person. My question is: why would pretending to be one thing and being another possibly be “evil” ipso facto?

Then, your pretence of Christianity had no ill effect on prickly_pete recently, Ecurb? Are we not responsible for our actions? Are we all children? Is this discussion a game to be played, that you mean nothing serious by it? Have you not done violence to prickly_pete, Ecurb? Are you not a troll?

As ususal, I have no idea what you are talking about. I've never pretended to be a Christian (it's not my fault if people think that anyone who says anything the slightest bit positive about religion is religious). I have never "done violence" to prickly_pete (or anyone else on this board). It is, however, correct that I mean nothing serious "by" this discussion. How could I?

How old are you, Ecurb? Have you no honour, Ecurb?

The answers to those questions are none of your business.

Adios.

Oh, they are very much my business as I think that you are a troll.
