I'm in 11th grade too. I read this book for my independent reading class and think that it is a great book too.

WOW. What a great book. This seems like an eleventh grade book but hey, im in the 9th grade and loved it. I t was boring at first, but that quickly changed. Overall, great book. One of the better ones i have read.

like someother person who wrote the comment about the english class assignment, i got this book assigned to me. Knowing this book was written in the late 1800's i thought it was horrible. But i am honestly in love with this book and i haven't geven gotten to the second half... with each chapter something new happens... they only thing i don't like about this book is the fact that i am a canadian and don't know where most of the places that the author speaks of are... but besides that... definitely pick it up and read it... makes u think about how much us humans are worth... but i gotta finish reading the book for my essay is due at the end of the month... GOD how i hate gr. 11 english
