My Intention

In the beginning
The Word had spoken
In the end
It all lay broken.

An election took place
In heaven.
I was not among them,
Cast from the golden chair.

I came out a giggling babe,
My intent was good;
But mom & dad would say
My heart was bad.

So they over-corrected me.
Like a car that over steers,
I slammed into a row of trees.
That was me!
I woke up dead.

So that's where I stand
Here on the judgment throne,
With one wave of a hand
I'm shipped off with the red man. (devil)

But my intent was good
I thought to myself,
Yet my heart was bad
I'm told,
So they tried to correct me.

I'll have plenty of time to think about that.
In the meantime
It's time to get ready for that hot bath,
Ouch.

Heaven Is A Place

On the stairs of paradise
I held you waving.
Saying to myself
How could it be?

I doubted

But you smiled
And reassured;
Heaven is a place
For all who love.

I cried,
And wiping away the tears
They became the river of being apart.

And crossing the river
I saw your beauty...
Your heart revealed,
Reaching outstretched to touch me,
So we could be
Together again
In heaven.

Kaleidoscope

Life through a kaleidoscope
With an eye right through a tunnel.
There is no time, nor beginning,
No exit, no entrance.
Just an eye meeting various colors
In a magic hall dancing in your mind.
