Hi , do u know of any novel where the child is the antagonist that leads to the destruction of the mother?
I have chosen , Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary, The Awakening, and To the Lighthouse.
What do u think of these choices?
And do u know any post modern novel that depicts this antagonism in a way or another?

To the Lighthouse is not a suitable choice for what you say you are looking for. Mrs Ramsay dies presumably of old age and what it brings.
You might try Mildred Pierce by James M Caan for conflict between mother and daughter.
You might investigate the roots of the conflict and I suggest you look at Snow White where the theme of jealousy of the emerging beauty of the step daughter enrages the stepmother whose beauty is fading

Mirror , Mirror on the Wall
Who is the fairest of them all?

We Need to Talk about Kevin -- Lionel Shriver
Unless -- Carol Shields
The Fifth Child -- Doris Lessing

Perhaps the most obvious one would be Lolita.

Im really greatfut to u . If I wanna restrict it to American Literature only.I could add Faulkner's As I Lay Dying. I think that would be much better because I could trace the development of the relationship in chronological order.

It's already been mentioned, but 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' is extremely fitting for what you want!
