Victorian bones
picked clean by alien fish
lay crushed beneath the sea.
The stars and stripes upon the moon
are blown by a Disney wind.
An Arab spring
reddens leaves
and passes into autumn.
In a nameless decade,
a pinprick in time,
I forward a text
and Roll On The floor
Laughing My F ucking A ss Off.

C'mon Jer. You don't really think they faked it, do you?

I like the 'laugh at our expense' approach. imagine if I said something serious about it.

Still a fan...

They used to say in my childhood, lo these many years ago,
don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. Of course that was before the great Information Age
in which we are cursed, I mean, blessed!--to live.

"I read it on the Internet, so it must be true!" Right?

A short but quite clever bit o' satire, my good man.

Us cyber writers desecrated the great English language, ripping it of its Victorian beauty. WTF!

Apologies but this is fairly literal.
The bones of Victorian mariners in deep sea.
The USA flag on the moon, Disney in its need to unfurl as it would in an earthly wind.
The bloody Arab uprising.
Disposable modern life.
ROTFLMAO.
