The Fool On The Hill

Day after day
He sits on a hill
Hands outstretched
To heaven,
To come see him.

The world that sees him
Thinks they see a fool
They don't understand,
The birds on the branch
Sing him a tune.

His head in a cloud.
What he sees
No one else found,
But the rain in the clouds
Bound on him perfect sound.

He lives in harmony
With his world all around.
With their eyes in their head
Only turmoil in their dread,
But the fool looks ahead.

The world sees him not
Thinks they see a fool.
What they don't understand
The birds on a branch
Sing him a tune.

The Parting Of The Clouds

Behold, a beautiful charming Light came upon the sky
The brightest most beautiful Light ever to be witnessed on the earth.
The Light of the Holy Dove which came upon the Lord was now coming on all,
Enveloping the earth with the most wondrous Light conceivable.
And beyond a greater sight! The Lord in all His Majesty coming from the Light,
Bringing the glory of heaven with Him reigned in His smile.
And great trumpets sounded for the Lord as the angels stretched a thousand long,
Gathering in the Spirit, and the earth became filled with His swirling Light.

Behold, the Mighty Lord reigning down from heaven
Coming to proclaim His kingdom and send love to all His people
Who loved the Lord and was so happy to see Him
As the angels harked in heaven and all the stars arrayed beautifully
For the day of the Lord was upon.
And heaven and nature sang
For truly this was a great thing,
As the universe opened up to the believers
And the Lord carried them on home
To His glorious heaven
For ever more.

The Cynical Roof

Momma yelled at papa
Papa yelled at dog,
The endless rift carried down the hall
Under the cynical roof.

Across their flat world
They looked and saw nothing at all,
The cynical heart that heard it all,
Was the Labrador dog
Shaking his head in disgust of it all.

And any discussions held at the table
Were put to bed before they were able
To put a word in on what was just said,
Just strife and bickering from brains that were dead.

Momma yelled at papa
Papa looked for the dog,
He was down the hall
Shaking his head from it all.

Impassioned Lovers

She slipped into the room,
He held his arms out from his brawny chest,
The room was alive with piano playing music,
Searing romantic tunes, concerto;
But who needed tunes in this room
These two lovers had each other,
What they came to share would spin their world
Upside down.

She slid off her silk robe
Her perfume rubbing his skin,
He bounced on the bed
Kissing the nape of her neck,
She muttered softly a nightingale song,
She lay addressed for him
Grabbing his skin
Like a tiger nabbing flesh.

"Ahh" she screamed...the pleasure on her face...
"Give me more...I want more!"
He by now was in a deep pant
As he slid by her fruit;
She so open for the moment
As if saying come on
He seized the opportunity
Began to measure his poise,
But all poise was forgotten
As they intertwined as one,
Rolling off the bed onto the carpet.

She tossed aside a fallen pillow
And grabbed hold of the bed sheet
Digging her palms in,
As he let go a deep sigh,
In...and out..his head high like a rocking horse,
She smirking wide in utter pleasure,
"Yes"...she screamed...into the soft music
"Yes...more...more"...
And a thousand breaths of pleasure were released
Before they both shuttered into one climatic moment,
Both shaking out ecstasy.

As the two lovers faced each other
The scene couldn't look better,
He smiling and she giggling and both thankful for the others body.
So they both wiped the sweat from their skin,
Collapsing in the dark,
Having uttered a thousand passionate breaths.
Their moment fulfilled as nightfall fell deeper
Into each others steamy arms.

A Charmless Poet

I am just a charmless poet
Singing songs in the wind
A kite without direction
Floating without a string

See me up there
In my careless ways
Blowing in the air
My catch phrases

I make no impact
Ripple no waves
I'm in a sky with no sign
Pointing home

I'm just a charmless poet
Singing my songs without a rhyme
A kite blowing without a string
Lost until I fall from the sky.

Into Your Evanescence

The dandified passion of flame,
Was a flame not of fire
But a passion of love.

The Intense fervent light,
The glow of your crown
Kisses my world with endless laughter.

Your lips are my burning desire,
To touch the very core of you
Into a flame of shining diamonds.

Even your pensive moods,
I see right through
Pass the desirous flesh...

Into the infinite beauty,
The very core of you
Into your evanescence.
