The tinky tang of the hollow tines
singing over the water’s whispers.

The peaceful silence of the night.

Distance thunder rumbles,
Lighting flashes so quick
You thought you blinked;

Only to find your slumber.
I could lie in this veil and never awake.
So calming, so much of an escape.

I like the imagery it make see when I read and closemy eyes for moment. Last stanza is my favour because I wish I am there in forest.
