Sophius

Greetings. As should be evident, my selected name is Sophius(which is in fact male due to the -us ending, just to clear up any misconceptions as to the nature of my sex) and as one could guess, I am obsessed with reading:out:. I am fourteen years of age and I have just completed my freshman year of highschool.
I do realize that it is likely highly abnormal for someone of my age to join a forum bent on the discussion of classic literature, but I ask not to be judged by age. If I am deemed innapropriate to attend this forum, please inform me, and I will cordially make my leave.
Embarressingly enough, my favorite author is Stephen King, who likely is not a very appreciated figure among the populace of this site. But I assure you that I also possess a love for classic literature in addition to "popular" literature. However, I will make my stance clear that I believe that Stephen King is greatly undervalued by the acedemic community, and will be willing to debate the fact under the assumption that all parties will remain civilised(you have no idea how many debates I have undergone where the majority of the arguement is how much you can insult your opponent). But, in what I hope to be a redeeming fact, my other favorite authors consist of Edgar Allan Poe, Frank Herbert, James Joyce, William Shakespere, and Salman Rushdie.
I am pleased to have found a forum who's purpose is the serious discussion of literature and hope that this social endeavor will be more succesful than various previous attempts.
