Thus Spoke Zarathrusta

Neitzsche's literary masterpiece throws one little advice that almost seems to lead humanity in this modern period: Overcome yourself! Yes, life is blessed when you overcome who you really are. Furthermore, he insists that humanity should avoid living in the comfortable place bred by all the cultural norms&customs(Christianity, for instance), but should try to become one true self. As a Christian, I was quite fascinated that men could be something more than what they are right now.

The work is inspiring in the way that it gives a hopeful message that we humanity are not some kinds of slaves who should feel disgraceful for our lame life. Zarathustra actually preaches the contrary. He urges men to praise the life, the joyful living moment, instead of afterworld.

The preacher's ideas are hugely different from mere Nihilism. Unlike Nihilism that only views the emptiness of life with boredom, Zarathustra honestly tries to "re-evaluate" the good and bad that had controlled humanity's decision for centuries.

The book is very confusing to comprehend sometimes, but it's worthwhile. : )
