I am looking for an unabridged version of Arabian Nights translated by Richard Francis Burton. There is a version released by Forgotten Books. Is that version reliable?

I don't know about that version, but his complete version with addenda is available online for free download. I can't remember whether it is at www.gutenberg.org or on a website that is specific to him.

since it would be over 4,000 pages. The complete unabrisged version in 12 volumes with notes was printed by the Limited Editions Club in the 1930s. Occasionaly this version is for sale reasonably on ebay. Just select books for a category then search Limited Editions Club.
The Burton Club also issued an unabridged edition in 17 volumes, but this one is an overkill probably only suitable to those dedicated to the scholarly pursuit of Burton (not Elizabeth Taylor's deceased husband).

4000 pages of plain text isn't too bad. Gutenberg.org does have it here (separate volumes):
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/search.html/?default_prefix=titles&sort_order=title&query=thousand+nights
Also, you might want to check the dedicated 1001 Nights page at
http://www.wollamshram.ca/1001/index.htm
They have info and online-readable texts of several versions.
