dear friends, I need a poem of 19th or 20th century, and I wanna apply 'new criticism' approaches on that, i'd be thankful if you could suggest me a rather long poem.
thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "new criticism" but "Goblin Market" by Christina Rossetti is a fairly long poem.

If you need a long poem I would suggest reading, "Paterson" By William Carlos William.
It is an epic poem about the first industrial city of America built by Alexander Hamilton.

How about The Second Coming by Yeats? It's not a long poem, but it has layers upon layers of interpretation and subtext. Then again, you could just go for Evangeline by H.W. Longfellow; it's as close to an epic as a poem can get.
