Happy Birthday, Themis! :)

An interview with Themis:

*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
Because I like telling people about myself. ;)

*Are you sure you want to do this?*
Positive.

*Who killed Roger Rabbit?*
Not me!

*Whose footprints would you find in the fridge?*
Possibly my own.

*So, how old are you?*
26.

*Are you male or female? *
Female.

*Do you like red cars?*
Yes.

My law studies.

*Which languages do you speak?*
German, English, and a wee bit of French.

*How do you like your home town?*
I love it.

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
The last time around I chose Natalie Portman. Still a good choice, I think.

Who is your favourite Beatle?
Paul McCartney.

*How do you like your coffee? *
With so much milk that it should be called "milk with a shot of coffee".

*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
A cat.

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
Writing and, surprisingly, cooking.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
Write a good book.

*Is there a selfless act?*
Of course.

*What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?*
Writing the aforementioned book, having children and being a good person.

*If you were to be stuck at a particular time in your life, which one would you choose and why?*
My childhood. Everybody I care about was still happy then.

*Do you get tired living life?*
Never. As far as I know, it's the only life I'll ever live. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

*Do you have a tasty recipe for life that you could share for a reasonable price? … Is it REALLY tasty?*
Yes and yes.

*What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?*
Hard work. Though I would love to be lucky some time.

*If you were a king/queen for a day, what would you do?*
Nothing, but isn't that the point?

*What’s the stupidest forum argument you’ve ever had?*
I'm pleased to report that I've already forgotten that particular argument.

*What song is in your head at the moment?*
"Wie die Chroniken vermelden" (As the chronicles proclaim), a song from the operetta "Jabuka"

*Which book are you reading at the moment?*
"The Gun-Maker's Gift" by Matthew Plampin

*What is your favourite quote?*
“You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself one." - James A. Froude

*Favorite threads?*
I particularly like the "Pictures Taken By you" and the various "What are you thinking/eating/wearing/doing" threads.

What's your favorite sandwich?
Anything with either tuna, arugula or cheese. Possibly even together.

*Favorite poem?*
One of them is "Allgemeines Wandern" by Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff

*What era do you find most of the books you read are from?*
Late 19th, early 20th century.

*Last person you hugged/kissed?*
My father.

*What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?*
Still (happily) studying.

*Would you rather be an educated fool or an ignorant fool?*
An educated one.

*What would you like to be if you could change your profession?*
A professional writer.

*Which one of the seven dwarves are you and why?*
Possibly Happy, because I'm mostly happy and optimistic. Except when I'm not - then I'm Grumpy.

*If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?*
Nothing. I'm content with the way I look.

*What book would you recommend to others of all types and ages as a must read?*
"Der Mond hinter den Scheunen" (The moon behind the sheds) by Erwin Moser. It's a children's book, but one I enjoy reading even today.

*What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?*
Sleeping.

*Last movie you watched?

Any time my mother hugged or kissed me.

Passing my civil law exam.

*Are you mostly happy with life or are you still in pursuit?*
I think people are always in pursuit.

*What question would you like to ask to the person to be interview after you?

Happy Birthday Themis - was it yesterday? Sorry missed.

Ae you Austrian? We liked Salzburg and Vienna. We've been three time to Salzburg. The kids loved it too.
