Now here's the thing - and it's got me in
It's called slo-mo videograghy
Frame-rate 240 - me oh my oh Lordy!
And it's almost beyond photography!

Instead of a still image you see the damage
As it's happening and unfolding
Right before your eyes - who'd have realised
Magic in your hand you're holding

Explosions, fire crackers - and I have gone crackers!
Birds in flight, cats jumping out of trees
Bees and tossed water - I think someone oughta
Intervene because it's bringing me to my knees

Can't let a car go past without: 'instead of fast
How good it would be to make it slow'
When I see a butterfly overhead in the sky
I wonder how they flap their wings to go

So here's the deal: it's bleedin' unreal!
But don't expect me to show them all
These things in need of recording at slow speed
Too many in fact - and here's a bouncing ball

Not really new kitty - maybe relatively, only a couple of months old - but it has a slomo feature that I didn't realise was so much fun. When I bought it the weather was warm, but now it's cold, and I was looking around for something to do to keep occupied in a feeble sort of way (while wrapped in woollens - not the most flexible attire) and yeah.

There's nothing special to the setup, just flick a button really, but on a tv screen it looks quite professional in a strange special effect kind of way
